Motion Icons

I designed the motion for a basic set of icons for Skype clients. The animations are intended to be both functional and delightful. The function side of it depends on the metaphor of the icon. In the case of the chat icon the motion indicates that there are new incoming messages. For the heart mark the motion indicates the action of loving a specific item, for the heart break animation the meaning is the opposite.
